It was, for once, a quiet afternoon.
(Which probably meant that Rumble and Frenzy were loose and running amok in town somewhere, but even Soundwave needed a break sometimes.)
Soundwave was at the moment sprawled on a couch which for most of his frametype was low enough to be little better than a pile of pillows on the floor, but it was the right size for most of the people he lived with. They had been watching a lot of really terrible movies. Ravage was stretched out against him, asleep and purring up a storm. Ben was at the other end of the couch; Laserbeak was sitting just above him on her perch. The remains of the takeout Ravage had ordered for Ben were sitting on a low table next to a pile of empty energon cubes.
"Soundwave: could get used to this," he said, and chuckled, because Ravage's ear twitched whenever he spoke. "I look forward to the party on the Lost Light. Resumption of hostilities with Galvatron, perhaps not so much. But I do have a few concerns about ... here."
